This is a great dog jacket. It covers the back and the chest and under side of the dog. The flap that goes along the underside of your dog has flaps the come up and fasten over the dog’s back. This is super as it keeps the Velcro out of any water,snow,dirt. It also allows for a secure fit under and around the dog. The coat has elastic straps that can be used to go around the dogs hind legs to keep it in place.The material is excellent. It is a canvas type material on the outside and a Sherpa type material against the dog.It has two openings that allow for either a harness type leash or a leash that attaches to a regular dog collar.I am very pleased with this product. The only down side is it runs a bit big but I’d rather have it a bit big than a bit small!I have a medium sized, a little chunky, short haired old pooch.
