I had this harness less then 2 weeks the build and materials are very subparI've only had the harness for a few days but my first impression is that it is very solidly built. The material is thick, the webbing/straps feel strong, the leash attachment points are metal and the stitching all around is good. The clips are a lighter weight plastic but they function easily to clip and unclip the harness. Durability of the clips is the only question mark I have on the overall construction and only time will tell how they hold up after repeated use.I've got a thick 85lb golden retriever. He's a little on the chonky side but is mostly just very solidly built. He gets walks of 2-3 miles on most days, with plenty of swimming thrown in. I've owned a lot of harnesses and they are not all built equal. Fitment is also a frequent challenge for a thick dog like mine.The Everfine harness, in XL, fits him pretty well. I don't have it completely dialed in yet but I'm getting close. There is plenty of strap to cover a much larger dog as I've got it set only a couple of inches from the smallest setting on the XL. The adjustments are easy to make and the buckles slide will only a little effort required -- enough to prevent them from sliding on their own without making it too hard to adjust. Once you have it set right, it'll probably stay there so this is a short term nicety.I will say that this harness seems to have more flexibility of fitment then most others -- the available strap length that fits around the neck area is much more then most harnesses I've owned. That ultimately means that it will work well on a 'longer' dog or those with a thicker neck. The stomach strap also has plenty to work with. I'm at almost the shortest setting and as I said, Norm has a healthy girth to him. Any dog less then 80lbs should probably go with a large.There are a couple of additional touches which probably have limited application -- there's a velcro section in the chest area to allow for patches to be easily placed and removed. I'm assuming this is primarily for police or military dogs. There is also a bungee strap on the top in case you wanted to strap something to your dog. Let him carry the water bottle once. Finally, there is a small plastic holder built in for a name tag or such. I don't really foresee using any of these things but they are there if you want them.The handle built into the top is sizeable. Handy if you need to pull your dog out of the water or just lead him in a direction with authority. The top and front leash clips are well placed and appear to be solid. Certainly no fear of them breaking.My only gripes are very, very minor. As mentioned earlier, the buckles are a lighter plastic. They function fine but given that these are the most used moving part on the harness, I have a minor fear they may fail after being weathered and repeatedly used. If that happens, I'll update this review. The other minor negative is that the harness is slightly rigid out of the box -- not stiff but not immediately conforming either. I suspect it will soften up with usage so this minor complaint is likely to diminish as well.Overall, I'd say this is currently tied for best harness I've owned and I've owned quite a few. If time proves it to be as durable as my other favorite, it may take the lead just due to the flexibility and ease of the fitment and the nice added touches on this one.This harness seems well made but My boy is very beefy and I think we might eventually have an issue because although this harness seems strong it's not as thick as others we've had in the past. The fit seems nice though and I really like the color and style as well.This fits my small to medium sized dog and he’s still growing. I got the small as the size chart suggested based on the measurement of my puppy. I replaced my puppy’s collar because it was choking him. This works way better. It looks great on a brown goldendoodle. The best part, its not too bulky like those other harnesses out there.5 stars (standard rounding rules apply)At first when pulling out of the package, wasn’t sure that this harness was going to fit. I have two dogs, one that is 65 lbs and the other 75 lbs. The harness fits snugly, has a secure handle on the harness in case you need to hold your animal more securely. It is made with quality material with thick rings for their leash. Definitely recommend for strong pulling dogsas my dogs broke all their harnesses from petsmart. I like the coverage of this harness so that it doesn’t cut into my animals when they pull, there’s more fabric across the chest and back so as they pull it distributes better across their body.We have two dogs. One walks like a dream just on a leash and the other...not so much. She is better on some type of harness, though, but I wanted to get something that had more padding than her current one, as due to her pulling all the time, she sometimes gets sores on her chest from the harness she has now. This one works very well. It has some padding to keep her more comfortable and it is very sturdy, with no concerns about anything breaking or snapping if the dog lunges forward at a squirrel or something.I really like the reflective lines that really pop and glow when lights hit them, whether headlights or streetlights. It is easy to put on the dog, with just a couple of buckles, and easy to remove as well.We got a size medium harness and it fits our pup well. We made sure to measure her before ordering, just to make sure we got the right size. We keep the harness just a little loose around the chest and waist, but there's no worries she's going to wiggle out of it.All in all, if you're in the market for a new dog harness, this one works great.This harness is great, it has velcro on the sides and front for patches, a handle on top and two clips - one on the front and one on the back, making it easy for those who prefer one or the other for their dog. It feels very sturdy and good quality.The harness is good quality, sturdy and easy to put on the dog. My dog tend to pull on the leach and get himself chocked but with this harness, he is ok regardless of how much he pulls. The package comes with a poop bag carrier but not a leach, but still a good value.my dog and I are happy with it.
