We bought 2 of the 48inch kennels. We used them for a makeshift kennel/ play yard for our dogs while on vacation to keep them from destin the house while we were gone, and in-between the pet sitter visits. I used sticky backs and zip ties to temp attach an end panel to the wall so that I could use my existing walls as part of the play yard, making room for a bigger part area. That idea worked great! I made 2 separate kennels, one for the smaller dogs, and one for my big girl. My biggest dog is a 75 lb Rhodesian Ridgeback/ Sheppard mix. She jumps on the panels and won't knock it down. The panels will move a little, but it keeps her in. I'm certain that if we had used the kennel outside with the stakes in the ground, it most likely wouldn't budge even with her weight. The 48inch panels are high enough that she can't jump them either.I thought, after reading reviews, that my small dogs might have a hard time getting in the gate, but they had no problems at all. Even my smallest, senior miniature shi tzu has no trouble at all.The gate is narrow, making it a tight squeeze for a bigger person, like myself. But, you can always lift the stake and just open the whole panel for easy access. It's no hassle at all, and only takes a few extra seconds..For those, like us, using this in the house, we found a great set up using a cheap fake grass rug with a plastic drop cloth underneath it to catch any accidents and save your flooring from damage. It worked perfect for us, and it looks nice too.Don't bother buying any extra accessories, such as the plastic caps for the stakes, they don't fit, and fall off before you can even insert the stakes. I suggest just wrapping them with tape, if anything at all. I have luxury vinyl plank flooring, and the stakes have not scratched my floors at all.Have a very strong lab under 2 years old. It holds up!Use common sense when putting up more than one 16 piece kit. We staggered some in and out for sturdiness on a long connected run. More than 3 on a straight shot if not in a rectangle gets flimsy. But this is an awesome alternative to permanent fencing. You can set it up in all kinds of shapes for your specific needs.Love this product! There was a picture of more than one kit together in a circular area and that would work well for strength also.Went together extremely easy and made out of metalI bought this for my granddogs and when i dont have granddogs around i put my 5 cats in it! I put a top on of chicken wire and can easily move it around my deck, in my grass or my garage. Love this! My children love it also, they want to buy it for their dogs! Was able to setup by myself. It’s lightweight but quality.cfSuper easy to assemble. I did get a few tposts to give it extra sturdiness. It’s not as heavy as what I was thinking, but it seriously works great. We live in a duplex and couldn’t afford to have a permanent fence put in, so if we ever move the fence will be easy to take with us. We have a big golden retriever and a blue heeler, and they are loving being able to be outside off the leash. We use this for temporary foster dogs and camping. It works well. Wish the powder coating was better. Just a few days outside with condensation and dew on the grass it has rust on many edges. One panel has had the bare bent by dogs being rough with it. Overall has been a great purchase.Light use is ok. It looks good. Not as sturdy as hoped for the price.. If you dog jumps on it, it WILL scoot all around.. Would have to mount it to the floor to keep it in place if using indoors.. Stakes that hold it together are not strong enough. I fear one braking in near future. My standards are adults. Well mannered. But one good jumps on the kennel can do some damage. I didnt realize the door can come right off! You can lift it and pop it right off the hidges!!! The dog showed me.. So again its good for light use with very VERY well behaved canines. Not recommend for any chewers... Diggers... Or Jumpers .. Stakes have a loop that can grab the collar on the dog if they jump on the side of it or jump over it... Needs to be redesigned. Not worth the $$$ but i needed something fast.. It got here fast.. And my dogs are very well behaved so nothing has broke... Yet...I got 2 of these to make an outdoor large permanent pen for my dog. Looks very elegant and cheaper than going to buy all the items needed to create a pen.Very useful and sturdyVery easy to install
