I bought a pair of these raised feeder bowls for two senior/elderly dogs that I recently adopted from a shelter. They are both German Shepherd mix, 43lbs & 55lbs, medium -large size dogs, so the stooping over a bowl on the floor was not great. One of the dogs took to eating out of the towers immediately. The other would have nothing to do with it. So I waited a month (they'd already had so much change in their lives) and I reintroduced the tower and then he ate from it, no problem. These dogs are a bonded pair and eat next to each other just fine, but having two separate towers does give me the ability to space them out and give each a bit of room.Another reviewer stated that she had bought two of the silipint silicone bowls to put in the top of the tower so you don't have to wash the tower every meal. I got two of those bowls, too, and they fit perfectly! I just wash the silipint bowls after each meal. Easy/Peasy! (They can be put in the dishwasher, too.) https://www.amazon.com/Silipint-Unbreakable-Dishwasher-Freezer-Safe-Dragonfruit/dp/B0B1W6PZKL?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1I think the CAM Pets pair of raised dog bowls is winner!
