I was very excited to get this furniture-crate for my golden doodle puppy. She loves all her crates - goes in whenever she wants to nap.I was however surprised that in the reviews NOONE mentioned all the really weird hardware and screws.I am a 67 yold woman who everyone calls me because I have a ton of tools - especially my drill. I saw all these pieces and it says do NOT use a drill. Saaaaaay Whaaaat???? I think we as seniors need to be careful we don't do things that hurts our wrists....... so, unfortunately out came the screw driver. Also, lots of comments on NO DIRECTIONS - I found this very small paper inside the box all those screws came in. Amazing - directions - and they worked perfectly. I did assemble this on top of my dining room table - the floor was a NO GO for me. Had this totally assembled in 30minutes.It's awesome.Good luck everybody.Only minimal help was needed in order to put this together. It houses the dog well and looks amazing and even doubles as a table quite well. Definitely not what I would use for travel, but that is not why I bought it.This is a nice looking crate and my dog likes it. Buyers should know that if your dog tries to get out of the crate, it will not be difficult. If your dog, like mine, loves her crate and doesn't try to get out, it's very nice. the double door does not sit flat if any pressure is on it like a dog bed against it), it pops out about 1/4" - no big deal, still closed, just not flush with crate. One thing it didn't come with that would be nice is a waterproof tray for the bottom. The bottom is wood and my dog was excited to get inside the crate and spilled her water - I will be getting a plastic tray for the bottom as I don't want to ruin the wood. Overall, I'm pleased with this crate.Well made looks great in our living room, the dog loves it.Easy to put together, great instructionsReally love these kennels! Very sturdy, easy to assemble, great customer service, and great craftsmanship! My doggy loved to stay inside as she found it a safe place for her. She does not mind if lock it.However the two metal for the magnet lock is quite dangerous when I try to enter and comfort my doggie. It could be also dangerous if doggy is bigger in size.Solid and practical, easy to put together. I added caster wheels for easy moving around since it is quite heavy.Pretty easy to assemble except for one hole that didn't line up correctly but overall not too difficult. The side opening gate makes it easy to remove my dog's bed when I wash it. The lock has held up well for the past month. The top of the cage is table like so its a great addition to the living room and not an eye sore. Perfect for my Cavapoo of 8 weeks with room for him to grow. Would recommend.
