Our aging poodle is having more and more challenges getting into the car. These steps are a great aid. He was leery at first but with encouragement, he now goes up into the car with no trouble. The stairs fold quickly into a neat package which is easy to store in the car. We may get another to use in the house. These stairs are actually way better than I expected. They fold/unfold easily, are sturdy (my dog is comfortable walking up and down them), and are really lightweight/easy to handle. So glad I bought these instead of a ramp as it folds up fairly small and makes storage easier. It did take a few treats and some coaxing to get my dog to use these stairs at first, but after a few times, she uses them without any bribes lol Would definitely recommend.Very easy to fold, Doesn’t take much room in my trunk the only thing is they are a bit too narrow for a large dog.Got these for a road trip to use both for the car and for the hotel rooms on our trip. Our 26 lb spaniel uses a long and heavy ramp to our bed inside the house - we set it up in our bedroom before we left to get her familiar with the steps. After a little hesitation and fear going up and onto the bed, she is great going up and down slowly. They wobble a little on the bed so slow is the way to use them but they made all the difference for her and for us carrying in and out of hotels and setting them up easily. We replaced the ramp at home with these steps - so much easier to make the bed now. Thank you!I have had other stairs and even a ramp for my dogs to help them get in the car when they have problems with their limbs. My dogs didn’t want any part of them. I tried these stairs yesterday with my Golden Retriever who is normally afraid of everything. I put some treats on the stairs and she went right up them with no problem at all.I’m very pleased with these stairs. They fold up easily and can be carried with one hand. They can even be left in the car.The Pros 1st: these steps fold and unfold with ease. They are light enough for even an elderly person to manage. Unfortunately that's where the praise stops. The Cons: there is no way these steps will support 150-200lbs. China measures weight differently I guess. Jinks is a CaneCorso/Lab mix @ 142lbs and these steps lasted a total of 3 weeks before I had to tinker with them. ( Now you may ask if I'm so unhappy, why not send them back for a full refund. Well, that's simple. They don't weigh anything. I am a truck driver. I have to stay weight conscious and these steps are very light.) The steps are basically panel board wrapped in fabric with an aluminum frame. The boards snapped in the middle and that lead to the fabric pulling away from the sides. I had to come up with a way to maintain the low weight and still obtain the support needed for Jinks to "jump" in and out of the truck. My solution was ¼" flat iron and JB Weld. Works like a charm! Only raised the weight the steps the amount of a 5ft piece of flat iron. Being that the alternative option was almost $500.00, I'm good with it.Easy to fold. Very light weight. Stores in a small space. And it reaches our bed!Light weight, easy to use and very sturdy. My Golden Retriever confidently used them the first time I used it. I can open and close it with one hand. Light weight and the straps made it easy to carry.
